Our London store is situated in Old Street and we are soon opening a sister store in Kentish Town (date TBC)

We have a further branch situated in Crawley, near Gatwick.

Because we need lots of space for our vast collection of costumes, our stores can sometimes can be tricky to locate if you've never visited before. We have maps and up to date opening hours on our store locators at the top of this website and full directions below.

London branch – Old Street:

Entrance is located on Singer Street (on junction with Tabernacle Street). We don't have a shop front but follow the sign down the steps into the basement and there we are!

From Old Street tube – there are roadworks and redevelopment of the tube station until Mid 2020 which may affect pedestrian routes - take Subway 2 (left exit) and follow the main road round until you get to Singer Street on the right hand side. Turn onto Singer Street and we are the last building on the left.

Gatwick branch – Crawley:

Located on Barns Court, just off Turners Hill Road – near Duke's Head roundabout.

We don't operate with an appointment system, we are open to all. Just pop in at your convenience and our staff will be on hand to assist.

We do ask that you allow yourself at least half an hour to an hour if visiting us to hire a costume to ensure you have time to try the costumes on and for our staff to assist with styling and completing the hire process.

Please note that our hire section and changing rooms close strictly 15mins prior to advertised shop closing times.

This depends on the costume! Most fall between £40-£60. Some simpler outfits (e.g. cartoon character onesies) are from £25-35, some more elaborate (e.g. knights, gladiators) are £70-150. Prices include VAT and are subject to change at shop's discretion.

Prices include relevant accessories where available (e.g. hats, jewellery, weapons), cleaning and you have seven days to return it once hired. Some wigs, shoes or boots cost extra.

It's always best to contact us for a quote if there is a specific costume you want to hire, just give us a call or email and we will be happy to help.

Hire rates are the same whether returned after a few hours or the full seven days. We give up to seven days to return as a grace period to allow time to pick up before your event and time to return without being rushed. 

Costumes returned late will be subject to a late fee.
